Zeitgeist Zero confirmed to headline Goth City Festival!

GothCity2

We are pleased to announce that Zeitgeist Zero will be headlining the first Goth City Festival to take place in Leeds in November 2016.

Taking place between Friday 11th and Saturday 26th November, Goth City Festival will celebrate the gothic and post-punk heritage of the city and of Yorkshire generally. Events will include, gigs, clubs, discussions, spoken word, acoustic and social events at more than six venues and feature more than 20 different bands and performers.

All proceeds from Goth City Promotions events during this period will be donated to PAFRAS (Positive Action For Refugees and Asylum Seekers), a local charity for destitute refugees and asylum seekers.

Every effort has been made to avoid clashes with other events and to work in partnership across the scene to create a positive and worthwhile series of events for a very worthy cause.

The main event at Goth City Festival will feature 9 of the best gothic, alternative and post-punk bands live at Wharf Chambers in Leeds on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November, followed by the best local DJs until late on both nights.

Blood live acoustic single

A great live, one take, intimate acoustic version of Blood. The track was recorded in March 2016, at Zeitgeist Zero’s own Inner Sanctum studio. This is a new recording of the song that originally appeared on the Dead To The World album. It’s free to download or if you would like to help the band you can pay a £1 or as much as you feel. It’s all appreciated.

First show of 2016 announced…

ZEITGEIST ZERO and LUXURY STRANGER will each play an hour-long set, with support from JAN DOYLE BAND. Tickets are just £5 online or £6 on the door
